Science week

Science week.
On Term2 of week 10 2015 we had science week. Senior students of glenbrae school has been learning about  physical and chemical change. It was part of the science project.

On Monday we were with Mrs Raj. She wrote down the three states of matters on the board. We type that down on our netbooks. She also wrote down the water cycles and we did the same things on our netbooks. Mrs Raj told us lots of good information about the water cycle and the three matters.

On Tuesday we stayed at our class to learn about our science experiment. We learned that yeast is alive. When you put baking soda and yeast together the yeast will eat the baking soda. We made bread with yeast, baking soda, flour, and vinegar.

On Wednesday we had a chance to go to a different class. We went to Mrs Tofa’s class. She said there science experiment was bread too, but different kind of bread. We used baking soda but Mrs Tofa used baking powder for the bread.Mrs Tofa cut us a quarter of apple so we can dip it and put it in the sun to see if it turn brown. And it work.

Finally on thursday we went to room 9 on the first block. We were learning about the three matters, and the three matter was solid, liquid and gas. The experiment was sugar and salt. they get a candle and stick it on to a jam jar lid. Then they got a spoon of sugar and a spoon of salt. they put it on the fire.

The lesson i learned was you can never stop learning.
Making bread is easy.
