Holiday recount

On the 19 April 2015 I, my family, and my cousin Baba Had a big day.

At the starting of the day on 19 April 2015 we kids and family and my cousin were having fun. Then Baba said we should play a game. So he decided to play cod for real life. Cod means call of duty. We all got a stick and pretended it was guns. Before we started a call came on the phone. We rushed inside to get it. When we picked it up, Baba’s dad asked if he wants to sleep here for one day, and he said YES!!! When we woke up the next morning Baba,s mum and dad came to pick him up. He got his clothes ready and when he brush his teeth he got his stuff and went.

On the 18 April 2015 we went to xtreme bowling. We were excited to go there. When we got there we saw heaps of games. After a while my mum got some bowling shoes for me and my brothers. When we got to the bowling center we started to bowl. I saw my friend Danny and when we got to the bowling center Danny left with her Aunty.My brother Sam came first. But i came last. I didn’t win but i had lots of fun. It was late and we were tired. My dad was tired to but we put music to stay awake.

Basketball recount

On the fifth of May 2015 I Loto and my class Room 7 went to play basketball. We played basketball at glenbrae school at the senior court.

First, at basketball we did a warm up like, dribbling the ball back and forth, and also making the ball go around your legs and stomach. That was our warm up. Then we played a game called dribble tag. You have to have a partner and your not aloud to run just walk fast. It was a fun game.

We still had time to play a game so the coach decided to play ship shore shark. We have to stand in the middle of the court and when the coach says ship we go right, when she says shore we go left, and when she says shark we go either way, and nobody won. People say it was hard but others’ say it was fun and tiring.

Then we had 20 more minutes left. The coach said the last game we are going to play is octopus. This is how we play octopus, the taggers needed to dribble the ball while they're running and tagging us, and if the taggers touch you, you have to go back to the spot that you were tagged and stand there and be a seaweed by moving your arms around and standing in the same spot.

Finally we come to the end, Room 7 and I were told to come to the centre of the court and the coach said that we were finished for the day. After that Room 7 were lining up to go back to class.
