Summary ( War In Waihī )

Summary ( War In Waihī ) Author: Mark Derby

This article is about a war that happened in the olden days. Now we use machines to dig for gold and gems. In 1912, miners used pick-axes, shovels and dynamite to mine. They had to work 6 days a week non stop. While they worked in the mines, they suffered from a disease that was know as Miner's Cough. there was a disease. They could die from that miners cough.

People in the olden days worked very hard in the mines but were paid very less. Those people who work very less in the mines got highly paid and it was not fair.
